Aggies got a clear upgrade when they ditched R C Slocum...or not.

Miles is a recruiter, a gifted knucklehead that seems to find a way to get beat after looking like world-beaters.
That said, LSU would be in a world of hurt in the short term if they parted ways. The buy-out, the loss of some recruits, and the impression from the rest of College football coaching community would seem to be too high a price to pay.

But then again, it is LSU.

Actually, the idea of firing him reminds me of when the Hogs ran off Ken Hatfield after back to back (10-2) seasons. Since Hatfield left, winning seasons have been few and far between and the crazy factor has been very high.

such poor reporting and so irresponsible. If a reporter references "strong indications" then he should report what those indications are. Is it some anonymous post he read on an internet board by an ole miss fan....maybe a backup's parents, maybe Saban himself. Do they remember before Miles got there?
