San Diego is not a top media market. It's 28th in the country.

There's a reason we're losing the Chargers to butt [deleted] Los Angeles

And that reason is that neither the city of San Diego nor SD County stepped up and funded a modern stadium a decade ago. Qualcomm is old, has few high-revenue seats, a scoreboard from 1996, and front-row sideline seats are 30 yards from the field. And yet no one thought that maybe the Chargers would one day have a better option. Doesn't help that there's a funding crunch out there

Yup. They f'd up big time when they didn't just let Spanos build the stadium himself 11 years ago. Stupid stupid stupid. Too little, too late now. That said, I hope Spanos gets both his balls bitten off by a shark on his way out of town.

It's possible, shark attacks have been up recently

Why? SD made it pretty clear they don't want the Bolts.

SD still very very very very much wants the bolts. But after all the lies, hate, and poison that Spanos lapdog and mouth piece Mark Fabiani has spewed that past two years, everyone would rather see Spanos burned at the stake than give him a nickel to stay.

Don't get me wrong, I understand that as far as owners go, he's actually pretty poor on the NFL spectrum (I know, I know that sounds completely ridiculous), since he has about $250 million in assets (basically all apartments) he really has no way to pay for a stadium by himself. Not even close. But you don't treat your city and fan base the way he has been.

San Diego is a chargers town through and through and we all HATE LA. It's just a giant [deleted] slap. I get it from a business sense 100%. But [deleted] spanos. He's also just a really dumb owner. They're actually thinking about giving Mike McCoy another year

I don't have a dog in the fight, but the Bolts Baby Blue Jerseysneed to come back. The dark blue jerseys are boring.
