The late John Outlaw, while coaching at Sherman, once inferred Briles' Stephenville Yellowjackets used steroids. Signs displayed at a subsequent Sherman-Stephenville playoff game included "Body By Art" and "Shoot 'Em Up, Art!"
Briles was really steamed, I understand.

Folks here in Aggieland are hitting the sportstalk radio station about Briles double hand salute to the A$M crowd after Baylor took a dump at Kyle Field and lost after leading the whole game...one fella hollered
"You're still Baylor, and you're still in Waco"..famous shot of Art trying to climb in the stands to have a "chat" with the fan.

Baylor and Briles are an easy target right now....everyone is piling on with headlong abandon, and it continues to draw attention and focus away from the women who allegedly were attacked. If this investigation takes the turn that some have suggested, that Baylor tried to pay for these women to remain silent or intimidate them into silence, the world of Baylor will implode in a way that will make SMU look tame.

Baylor has made me again glad that I went to SMU...

I understand Stacy hurt and humiliated and standing up for her dad, but I can't help but wonder how Stacy would feel if she were picking herself up off the floor after having been "abused" by a 300 pound thug her dad had brought in from Penn State or Boise. She is understandably grieving over her father's situation, but strangely silent about the girls her age who suffered just that fate from her dad's actions.

Art Briles' daughter is...not happy

Postby Puckhead48E » Sat May 28, 2016 2:35 am

Honestly, she is following the standard set by the Paterno's. It's understandable that she feel defensive of her father. That's a huge thing, for something to come out that questions or attacks the basic essence of what you were raised to believe. It sucks, and I understand her desire to lash out.

Having said that, she is a grown woman. She better know the impact of social media, both based on her father's career and her husband's.

This is the same crap we tell junior enlisted and officers when they join the service. I don't care what your ACLU friends and safe-space buddies told you, and I don't care what you think your rights are...don't put anything online that you aren't willing to stand in front of a judge or a Captain and bet your career and your future on. Well, anyone in this position needs to know that their judge is the court of public opinion, and her acts could have direct ramifications on her husband's career as well as make an already significant family crisis much worse.

Same reasoning for those players who want to start tweeting when the mic is still hot and the blood is still boiling. Be reflective, introspective, and let your controlled and planned actions speak for you...not an ill timed and under-thought posting.
