I don't think it's looking for something to complain about. It's that there is trepidation concerning how long before we actually break ground. After all, it took 30+ years for a badly needed natatorium, and frankly a number of announced construction projects seem to vanish into the ether (such as the DAC Golf thing, the new soccer stadium improvements, etc). I'm very encouraged but skeptical until a ground breaking date is announced. I am certain I'm not the only one on this board that feels this way. I'm thrilled to see the images. I'll be genuinely excited when I see the ground breaking.

The DAC golf project did happen. At least from what I've seen out there. Indoor hitting bays and a great short course practice area.

Don't be knuckleheads. SMU doesn't send a friggin announcements to the DMN unless it is a go. Some of you must be liberal arts majors.

I think this is a pretty big deal. Too late? Probably, but at least we are still trying.......

I'm pretty fired up about this. Definitely upping the ante. And it is Liberal Studies FYI...

We sure as hell don't need an announcement in the DMN for it to be a go.

As a liberal arts major, however, kindly GFY.

Is that the kind of "degree" you get to be a community organizer?
