Anyone know why these two were suspended for game 1?

I don't know, but they were on scout team for the scrimmage, so the suspension was at least 2 weeks.

Morris said he expects both Michael Scott and Jarvis Pruit to play this week giving SMU 14 Defensive Lineman and he suggested all will be in the rotation

More importantly, these young players are being put in during important game time situations and gaining true experience.

Although the QB might have "sharted" when in the red zone the last two weeks.

Kind of surprised by these additions but according to Temple Game Chart (I will double check when SMU Participation Chart comes out)

After Temple game-add Ken McLaurin and Marcus McNiel

12 True Freshman
13 Redshirt/Medical Freshman
4 First Year Transfers

Total: 29

Maybe good. Maybe bad. Maybe he's hurt and its not relevant. Maybe its too early in the season to mean anything.

IIRC there was a comment earlier this season that Kadarius Smith was comparable to Nick Natour in playing ability but that the coaches hoped to red shirt him this season. Later there was a comment that perhaps Smith had played when Natour got hurt.

Be all that as it may, Briggs, Natour and Wilds are the only OT on the game notes depth charts to have seen action so far according to the participation lists. Maybe some other OL has filled in at tackle.
