Miles had talent and could not get his offense going. Just think how bad his offenses would be with a lot less talent at SMU. Not the best fit imo.

A good coach at LSU should be in the hunt for a national championship every year. LSU will get the best recruits from the state of Louisianna every year and that is enough raw material for a good coach to be in the hunt year-in and year-out. Its a very tempting job for almost any college coach including Dabo.

Just what SMU needs, another old coach with stubborness issues and an inability to get along with the team's fans. If we were going to go with a retread, Malzahn (who is likely to get fired after the season) would be a better fit since the offense would not need to be changed much.

Perfect example of when Les is not more. Les is less.

He's going to have better offers. In fact, he may already have better offers.

I think Herman, Briles, Petrino will get serious consideration. On game day this past weekend, Spurier made the comment that some SEC school with lots of money is going to come visit Stanford.

Just coming here to post that. If I'm Baylor I'm lining up $4M/year RIGHT NOW for him. Tell him not to even come to Waco until the season is over, just start recruiting, both the lost Baylor players and that class he has lined up for LSU. He can keep the OC if he wants, if not, fine. But if Baylor wants to forget Briles and start putting all of that mess behind them, then they should be going after Miles, boring offense or not. Ain't gonna happen, but if I were them I'd be rabid about it.

no grass is safe with Les around....musing on how that new commercial LSU shot and debuted during the AU game is going to go over. Maybe the young lass who refused the bovine fodder knew something was up....
