"automatic win" lol. Please point out ONE fan who thinks this is an automatic win for SMU
Exactly. This is the real game to measure where SMU is as a team, not the Temple game.
Tulsa was a struggling team prior to Montgomery's arrival. 2 and 3 wins the previous 2 years. Montgomery showed up the same year as Morris. Tulsa is not bigger, stronger, or faster than SMU (Rebel10's favorite excuse). SMU has recruited better the last 2 years. Fans are apathetic in Tulsa as well. Facilities about the same. Montgomery somehow figured out how to win 6 games his first year. This game should be an even contest and a barometer of progress.
What will the excuses be this week, if things don't go well? (Injuries, bigger/faster/stronger, just need 2 more recruiting classes, next year.......)
Why are you so unhappy ???
Maybe Montgomery is the real offensive guru, with the more immediate P5 coaching future?

And FC Dallas won the Open Cup and are in the hunt for three more trophies!

Rangers didn't depress you yesterday? Hopefully both the Rangers and Mustangs bounce back today
