Baylor: More shoes fallingModerators: PonyPride, SmooPower Re: Baylor: More shoes fallingNCAA: "Meh"
Re: Baylor: More shoes falling
If Baylor was a company, this would indeed by "bet the company" lawsuit
Re: Baylor: More shoes fallingIf what's happening in Waco had been on the Hilltop, the NCAA would have already shut the whole school down and replaced it with a shopping mall.

Pretty much Shake It Off Moody
Re: Baylor: More shoes fallingFor those of smarter than me, what exactly can the ncaa do in this kind of situation?
Re: Baylor: More shoes fallingPretty much nothing
Re: Baylor: More shoes fallingTerry, I think you have the right to question whether or not 94 is smarter than you.
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Re: Baylor: More shoes fallingEveryone is pretty much smarter than me. I have a whole congregation of good people that tell me that pretty much every Sunday.
Re: Baylor: More shoes falling
We all know the answer

Yeah, but your boss is the best. All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Re: Baylor: More shoes fallingYea. I just wish I knew what he was up to every once in a while.
Re: Baylor: More shoes fallingBaylor will be hearing chants of "no means no" every time they go to an away game. When Ben R had his little situation he was greeted by that chant in Baltimore. I suspect that the NCAA won't need to act. Their administration may pull a Pye and give them a living death penalty. Impose recruiting and academic restrictions that tie the hands of recruiters.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
Re: Baylor: More shoes fallingBaylor won't do anything like that-they saw what Pye did to SMU. They hired a Coach with a clean record and I'm sure they'll monitor criminal backgrounds of their recruits-that's about it. You solve problems like this by hiring people with character-not by imploding the program. If SMU had done that in 1984 after Probation No. 4 things would have been different
"With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris
When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.
Re: Baylor: More shoes fallingSo true.

doesn't care who wins. -- Dwight D. Eisenhower
