Flying in and out of south Florida around the holidays is insanely expensive. Most of the good options into FLL that existed this morning when there was speculation of a bowl in Boca Raton were gone the moment that the official announcement was made.

Someone taught me how to use the hold this for 24 hour button with miles or money free.

Also there is another airport people forget about American flies directly into PBI Palm Beach International

I did that around 10:00 a.m.
I'm currently in Negotiations with street people to find out if I can share a shopping cart with a sleeping bag

Thanks alot - that was extremely helpful. I can fly a family of four into PBI one way for a little over $2,200. We just need to get return flights, hotel, tickets, and a rental car. Any ideas? You may find it "funny", but there are plenty of SMU fans that might have a harder time making this work. Thank you for the shopping cart idea, my kids appreciate that - in fact, we do own sleeping bags and can bring our own.

Actually I was serious about the hold button I used to try to wait for the cruise to go down then the air would go up until my son told me about it.

Pony time I'm sure you're savvy with the interweb pricings but if you plug in expeda to PBI you can take your whole family of 4 for $2400 including hotel car and airfare.
