UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
Re: TOP3 WRs in SMU History
Easily top 3 all time highlight in Smoo history.
Re: TOP3 WRs in SMU HistoryI always wonder -- what if we had three or four years of Trey Quinn?

Re: TOP3 WRs in SMU History
Agreed. Was a beast.
Re: TOP3 WRs in SMU HistoryI wish to amend my list as follows:
LeVias Berry CS ET ES Bobby Leach stable-boy for the four horsemen of the apocalypse
Re: TOP3 WRs in SMU History
Rossley and Brian Berry were damn good. I'd like to see Aldrick Robinson on here, too.
Re: TOP3 WRs in SMU HistoryWhile I certainly understand the sentiment for Raymond Berry, Brian Berry was more productive at SMU when compared to Raymond. I would have to go with...Proche (yds, recpt & TD leader), Sanders (neck and neck with JP), and ET (All American, like Levias, ran the ball from the WR position, clutch).
Re: TOP3 WRs in SMU HistoryYou all should look at where Kyle Rote was drafted...he was much more than a receiver.
Jerry LeVias was the player that made me a lifetime fan. You just never knew when he would score. His best position was on special teams, he second best was as a WR, he third best was any where on the field-KO, punt returns, you name it. Hayden was excellent at putting him in position to touch the ball.
Re: TOP3 WRs in SMU HistoryBy numbers, it's Sanders. I think Sutton was the most physically gifted. Many others on the speedster list such as Aldrick, Brian Berry, RR, even Gray, etc. Best hands were probably Proche. Quinn was also special. Beasley was savvy and 'slippery'.
Re: TOP3 WRs in SMU HistoryGary Hammond is on my list together with Jerry LeVias and James Proche with Sanders right there
