First, the Big East was going to retain its BCS status by hook or crook. There are too many televisions in the North East and their basketball contract will be a plum to the networks. Also, the BCS needs their votes on the Division 1-A committee. If they got bounced, you would see a playoff in a nanosecond, and tons of "academic reforms" which would ruin their little party. Thus they were granted a "concession" by the BCS. The best part of all of this is that the Frogs are left looking like idiots for their proclamation that they were joining the MWC because it would be the next BCS conference. LOL.
