That's where I stand. Winning the AAC is steep hill to climb.
Just beat Houston.

Re: Bold predictionI forgot where I saw it but someone said I think 2019 was the only season where the AAC championship had a 2 conference loss team.

Re: Bold predictionCincy loses against UCF hurts us. Tulane has multple hard games, we have fate in our hands against Houston. We need Cincy or UCF to end up with 3 losses, and I don't think that happens now unless the UCF QB gets hurt.

Re: Bold predictionTanner had it today! Beat South Florida and then focus on Tulane.
Re: Bold predictionBeat Houston - check! On to Tampa
Re: Bold predictionOnly route to Champ game is UCF wins out, SMU wins out and then we have a puncher's chance with a lot of help from other teams.
Re: Bold prediction
In that scenario, SMU would have an H2H advantage over UH and Tulane, but Cincinnati would need to lose to ECU & Tulane and would likely need UH to beat ECU. http://theamerican.org/standings.aspx?standings=92
Re: Bold predictionAlhers will throw for 1000 yards against Houston
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Re: Bold prediction
This is definitely one route. There are others but they are less likely given the statistical probability of loss for Cincinnati and UCF. Example, UCF loses to Tulane and Navy. They're out... not saying that is likely but it's a scenario. Tulane definitely has the hardest 3 week stretch to close the season.
Re: Bold predictionTulane has the kind of November schedule previously reserved for SMU
Re: Bold prediction
Luck of the draw....we beat Tulane and Cincinnati beats Tulane we have the tie breaker. Houston needs to beat ECU. We need a lot of help... we could end up playing UCF, Cincinnati or Tulane depending on how things play out. More than likely all that help doesn't occur and we end up in a decent bowl game even if we win out.
Re: Bold predictionI believe even if we win out Temple and Tulane have to beat Cincinnati for us to play in conference championship game.
Re: Bold predictionHoyt posted a way for a 5 team tie which would be really bizarre.
