this may be relevant-until school starts you can only have a limited number of walkons-something like 12-15. The rest including that punter could join the team later.

Taussig does exist and will be at practice on Sept.19 with several other special team players (as requested by Coach Bennett). He played high school ball at Lake Highland Prep in Orlando-- a small school football program that has turned out Max Starkes (Florida), Decory Bryant (Georgia) and Billy Palmer (Notre Dame) in the last few years to name a few.

Taussig is a better kicker than he is punter--he has a powerful leg but how he handles college D-1 pressure remains to be seen
