Did I miss something?

That was a snooze fest until the stinkin' end.

Why don't you kick a FG when you are down by 8 with a 4th down on the 2 in the third quarter?

Kelly choke!

Don't understand why Oregon doesn't call timeout on 3rd and 4 with 50 seconds left. If they force the FG, then they'd have some time to get it down field to answer. As it was they let the clock run and Auburn didn't snap the ball until 16 seconds left. Did Kelly really think it was more important to use the TO to ice the kicker than to give his team a chance to answer? That TO that Oregon had to call before they scored to tie really hurt as well. That was really huge. If they'd had two timeouts, then they could've called TO after 2nd down, held on 3rd, called TO an had about a minute and a half to answer. Killer mistakes.
Here's to those that wish us well and all the rest can go to hell!!!

Glad to see the team wearing the traditional uniforms beat the team wearing the (the kids just love them) day glow Nike [deleted] uniforms. 8)
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

No jacked up uniform has ever won a National Championship

That play will be enshrined in the Pantheon of Controversial Calls along with all the others. And be a bar fight catalyst for years to come.

Oh please, please. please let this call replace the SMU-Arkyland call in 1982. In the Valhalla of bad calls against the Beloved Razorbacks, this should now be the foremost worst in that pantheon.

Does anyone know who the guy in the brown sports coat was on Auburn's sideline? He was constantly standing right behind Chizik, talking to him, and I think I saw him out there with the team when they came out of the tunnel.

Is this Auburn's AD? Just found it strange to see some random guy on the sideline not wearing AU's colors.

Also, what is the point of having the blimp outside of a night game at a domed stadium? Wow, looks like a big bubble...lots of parking...cool...

Its a retractable dome, and either way that is a very cool stadium the blimp is there for TV, not for the fans in the stands

I know it's for TV, that's what I meant. I'm sure it's a cool stadium, I just found it annoying that they keep switching to the "DIRECTV CAM!!! HERE IN GLENDALE!!!!" and all I'm looking at is the roof of the dome. If it had been opened, then that'd be cool.

That was odd to me, too. Absolutely, totally pointless. But someone paid the big bucks for it to be up there, so they probably did the minimum number of "from the blimp" shots that the contract required.
