Could our offense be any worse anyway?

My real issue and my problem with JJ is his ego...
There is no reason AK can't be on this staff, make him OC, give him raise tell him he gets 1st look at job....
I truly believe that JJ would rather sacrifice recruiting in order to not have any competition or anyone else people think is as great as you guys think JJ is...The guy really wants to be the only guy getting accolades and it bothers him that people love AK more than him.
Why do you think he keeps the lemmings on staff, why does he never tell them to recruit more or work harder, because he knows they worship him and he prefers them to be secondary...
how can you speak to his ability as an OC? You can't just make your best basket maker General Manager of the basket division. There are greater qualifications to consider.
I wonder about the OC concept too. Does anyone know what kind of offense AK would run if he was in charge of the offense?

JJ doesnt want someone around him that could be better than him, JJ = egomaniac....look at me and only me...
I could not tell, was the part after egomaniac supposed to be in JJ's voice or was that your voice?

If Klemm leaves and JJ stays it could get kind of ugly going into the BE.

Yep. I don't even expect the coaches to call plays. Here KP will call the plays in the bowl game because JJ doesn't want to be here, neither do any of the other coaches. They are all just here collecting paychecks and not giving a damn about SMU. AK is the only coach on the staff the does anything. It's been stated here over and over again. PF, the fact giving website of SMU.
No one on here has an ego or wants to come out and play the "I told you so" card. No one here wants to see SMU loss games simply so they can point their finger at JJ or the rest of the posters and say they knew better than everyone. JJ is the devil. He spins everything. He lies about everything. I wonder if he even goes to his coaching office at all. I bet he just plays golf and dreams about retiring to Hawaii all day.

would guess the offenses he knows. JJs and New England's. Lots of folks here don't want to admit they are incredibly similar. Bellichek studied under the same guys.

moot point. he won't be OC here. June made it pretty clear that we wouldn't have an OC. but even if he did have an OC, june would call the plays.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

Well I think some believe JJ is just trying to stay on with SMU to ride it out for the next 3 years to get the remaining 6 million on his contract.

The Luncheon Guide for Lemmings: - The reason June never wears SMU gear is because he always keeps that stuff in the locker room - One or more coaches will be gone by Spring - Klemm only really recruited ONE current starter, so if he leaves, no big deal: June'll get someone better - Calling back recruiters didn't affect recruitment at all - Sad this came out during Big East announcement time, probably an uninformed ASU booster/ trustee's fault for the leak - June is loyal to a fault according to personality tests - Can't believe what you hear on the Internet, June never even had an ASU offer - Leigh is very trusted and prepares June's contracts completely without consulting him until the very very end - Jones waited until an appropriate break, when he wasn't doing anything else, to conduct his in-person interviews with ASU during the recruitment weekend, with Orsini's blessing. - Leigh is going through tough times and in fact may not have even posted some of those comments, somebody else did or they are basing it on something somebody said to him

Kate Hairopoulos @khairopoulos
Spin or reality, SMU coach June Jones said today that his near departure last week ended up helping situation at SMU
Jones and SMU prez Gerald Turner had productive talks at breakfast last Thursday. Jones says SMU will be last job
Apparently his meeting with about 300 fans at luncheon today went OK. He got a standing ovation, along with some hard questions and skeptics

I got the feeling that June was pissed at Leigh last week.
