Aggies seem to be setting their maroon faithful for another Battered Aggie Syndrome finish in Knoxville...

Duke 24, NC State 3. Duke’s backup QB completed only four passes but two were TDs. Fewest points allowed by Duke against State in 59 years. Duke @ FSU will definitely be the night game on ABC next week with Miami losing.

Duke actually has the semblance of a defense...FSU will be a great game

Interesting to watch ACC games thinking about next year, and how we would stack up.

Meanwhile, in AAC play UTSA plays FAU next week so another team will drop from the ranks of the unbeatens while we get to play our 3rd AAC game against a winless opponent. Both FAU and UTSA still have to play Tulane so we could not have hoped for a more favorable schedule this year.

I have also been watching all of the ACC games that I can. Observation: our D line will probably be ok as long as we continue with a lot of depth. Our pass D is going to get hammered if we don't get significantly better, our O will be be biggest problem as we need a better qb and some WRs. We no longer have guys like Rice, Proche, and Sanders to hold up our moniker of WRU and so far nobody has stepped up to be 'that guy''.
IMO based on the games I have seen the other teams are faster and better. Next year could be a long year if we don't make some major upgrades.

Re: your tag line: The current Rameses got the job because he killed his daddy in fight over covering ewes. But there is no sign he likes mares.

FYI- the ram thing has nothing to do with the Tar Heels nickname. UNC had a FB, Jack Merritt, in the early/mid 1920s who was All SoCon and, I think, 2nd team All American whose nickname was the Battering Ram, and because he also used to rile up the crowd by waving his arms and ordering them to stand and cheer, and had devised a rough hazing drill for freshmen football players, the ram thing got attached to UNC football, and then all UNC sports.

By the way, the first Rameses was bought from a farm in TX.

Can't decide if Rice at Tulsa tonight is a case of two improved teams or two teams that fit each other's weaknesses.

Well.... Rice scores in about a minute. Neither D looks great. We really should beat both.

J.T. Daniels was a highly recruited QB who may have finally found a home at Rice. They absolutely crushed Tulsa last night
