Pretty special moment in Atlanta with Ga Tech's upset today. Miami has only Wake and Syracuse remaining so I have to think finish with one loss. SMU just needs to play their best ball these last 3 games and win out to secure a berth in the ACC Championship game. Miami, Clemson & Pitt can battle it out to see who our opponent would be

BC ran for 313 yards in their 37-31 win vs Syracuse. Our D will be tested next week

BC passed for 65 yards and scored 37 points (0 defensive TDs). I daresay I don't think they will be able to do that against the Ponies.

Miami still controls their destiny.. They win out they're in the ACC championship.... Same is true of SMU... no conflict as Miami already owns the tie breaker

Ole Miss downs UGA.
Good news: teams above us are losing. Bad news: they are the wrong ones.

I agree that Ole Miss win over Georgia probably sets them up to leapfrog us in the rankings. Winner of LSU vs Bama game will be ahead of us and Tennessee is up 14-0 early vs Miss State. Texas routed Florida so I'm expecting 4 SEC schools to be ranked ahead of us

Wouldn't it be better for us to meet an undefeated Miami in the ACC championship? Whether we win or lose that game it'd be better for our CFP chances Sent from my SM-S906E using Tapatalk

Boise State and Nevada tied at half, 14-14. We need a Wolfpack win to get Boise State out of the CFP equation !

All in all this day has been pretty disastrous for the Ponies. But the good news is all we have to do is win. Fundamentally nothing has changed.

Good things happened elsewhere (like TCU and Duke winning). The real disaster would have been BYU going down but they squeaked through.

Cal, BC & Virginia were all winners this week. Take nothing for granted as our guys will be challenged to win out and make the ACC Championship game. Nice to have 2 of those games in Ford but our history tells us the Cal game will be sparsely attended and that's a concern
