Coaching suicide

Honestly, the coaching suicide aspect of this may just be the impact of his leadership being on display for 10 games of a season. We question how HP has an IPF and SMU doesn't...but seemingly ignore the bigger issue: they probably have a better coaching staff too. Luckily, we have fixed the latter and are working on the former.

SMU getting pushed around like a bunch of 8th graders. This season just needs to end.

A lot of Mason's friends on this board were convinced he'd do well enough to keep the job.

This was set up to be a bad season when It was reported that the OL came into summer workouts overweight. HCCM will have all these guys pumped and ready to go. In his phone chat during this game he stated as much.

these players just lack talent and desire to leave it all out there. i.e. most players learned how to tackle and block long before they got to SMU, Most of these guys aren't D1 quality and that is why most of them had very few quality D1 offers.
