With going to the Big East, will we still be able to have our rivalry games? I mean Im picturing a pretty decently hard schedule

1- Boise State
2- Air Force
3- TCU (OOC)
4- UCF
5- Houston
6- Rice
7- Navy
8- Rutgers
9- UConn
10- Memphis
11- South Florida
12- Louisville

I mean thats got to receive some recognition in the BCS

As far as rivals go TCU stays, Rice goes, NTCC comes along in 2014, Navy could be a permanent crossover opponent.

That's one of many pejorative names for UNT on Ponyfans.

Acceptable disparaging references to the school with many names:

Texas Normal College and Teachers' Training Institute (TNCTTI)
North Texas Normal College(NTNC)
North Texas State Normal College (NTSNC)
North Texas State Teachers' College (NTSTC)
North Texas State College(NTSC)
North Texas State University(NTSU)

We need to quickly modify our OOC schedule if we plan on even going to a bowl game over the first 3 years we are in the Big East.

Necessary expense, we're going to be an AQ team so we need to act like it. AQ teams don't load up on other AQ teams OOC. Our OOC schedules going forward need to be TCU, an FCS team and 2 FBS tomato cans.

Who are you, Bill Snyder?

If this comes to pass (and I doubt it will), you can address the complaints blaming SMU's low attendance on the fact "SMU plays schools we've never heard of!"

Not worried about attendance, it'll improve if we keeping winning (which won't happen if we load up AQ teams OOC). We need to start scheduling like an AQ team (most OOC games as warmups to prepare for conference play) or we're going to be as irrelevant in the Big East as we were for most of our tenure in C-USA. As for Bill Snyder his practical OOC scheduling helped turn K-State into a college football power for a decade.
