I just didn't have an issue with the play calling.
We aren't very good.

There isn't a playbook out there that enables D-2/D-3 kids to beat D-1 players. Once we clean house and give our freshmen, sophomores another year, we will be ready to kick butt in '17. Expectations 1-11,2-10 this year and 4-8 to-6-6 next year with us breaking 8-4 in '17. Can't wait.

Our biggest recruiting pitch is that you can play immediately.
Like the freshman this year? Other than the RB's I don't see a lot of true freshmen playing. I'm all for red shirting players but not if they're supposedly better than the starters. This sucks to watch. If we're going to write off this season, let's do it with the players that can play.

21 Freshman have played (11 True, 10) redshirt-that's a bunch. Next year there will be a similar number tilted more to the true freshman. That's a lot of freshman

When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.

Matt mcnew, Xavier Castille, Kevin thomas, Mitchell Kaufman off the top of my head. They may have more upside yes, but that doesn't mean they're better today necessarily. Amd even if they are better right this secind, it may be by such an insignificant amount that the coaches see more value on them getting an extra off season and spring. Some of those guys need the extra year of mustang manufacturing to live up to their full college potential. The benefits will be enjoyed when the two deep is loaded with seniors/ rs juniors from the 2015 class. They will be highly developed and there will be significant depth behind them

Does anyone know why the alcohol policy is different in the club and the concourse? The concourse sells until the end of the third, but the club ends much earlier.

Just another reason not renew my tickets up there. I went up in the third quarter to use my tickets and it was quieter than a midnight Christmas Eve service. I literally heard a mouse fart.

I'm going to venture a guess that the club operates under a different license. Of course, this being SMU, it's probably more likely that we just gave a different closing time to the manager of the club level concessions.

Yeah, I'm guessing they just never updated the club procedures when they introduced booze downstairs. They are likely on different licenses because you can get spirits served in the suites, but that shouldn't influence when last call is; that's a call made by the school.
