Okay, first, your reference to Socrates was amusing. Second, my disdain for sunshiners is limited to those over-the-top folks (including anyone who found a "silver lining" last Saturday) who fail to acknowledge the current state of the program, not those who are generally fans of SMU sports. Third, I have an opinion about said current state of the program and you have a different one--I don't think it appropriate to classify statements of opinion as right or wrong, but if anything, the current product suggests that my opinion is "righter" than yours. Fourth, I would not characterize my opinion as one of "gloom and doom" but rather one of realistic assessment. Last, I hereby formally accept your offer of peace, you may feel free to buy me a beer at you earliest convenience.
