Not bad--an uptown version of Mi Cocina. Good hangover fare.

Who cares what you have to say JT? Unless you've worked as a chef in an actual restaurant, you're opinion means very little. You ever strap on that apron and sling hash? Huh, boy?

Hey, just because I flunked Home Ec my freshman year and got cut from the pastry team does not mean my opinion means less than anybody else's. I can watch Emeril and tell when he's got his "A" game...

Thanks for all the "props" on Manny's!!

Manny is a good guy with a great family who deserves his chance for a bite at the apple. Manny's staff really understands what they are doing from the front door to the back door.

More importantly, we enjoy seeing the people from SMU and know how important you are to us at Manny's!!

Thanks again for your comments and we look forward to supporting SMU on the Blvd!!

Went to Manny's Sunday afternoon. Couldn't believe the wait! It was 2 1/2 hours, so we headed to The Magnolia and saw March of the Penguins, while we were on the waiting list. When we finally got to our table, everything was great: good fajitas and the margaritas were rather tasty as well.

Yo- Bob...
I would send this guy a personal message, find out some info, and get rid of that person on the wait staff.

Then have Eddie P. write a new post!

Wow -- what a day, Eddie P. I've been there twice, and had a fabulous experience both times. Great service, great food, etc. I would urge you to give it a shot again. Hopefully you'll enjoy it as much as I do.

We went there tonight, too. Once again, a very pleasant experience. Great food, great service. Food was served within 10 minutes of the order. Waiter was attentive but not overbearing.

Sounds like Eddie P. got the 'bad apple' in the bushel. I encourage you to send a personal note to Bob (I think "Stampede" is his name on the board) and let him know.

My wife & I went there tonight. It was great. I guess I've been there 20 times since it opened. I've experienced a few bumps in the road over the past 2 months, but I've never seen or experienced anything like Eddie P described. I would recommend telling Manny directly if you experience that type of problem, including what happened on Saturday.
