.....and to think just about every team in the Country passed on these budding superstars. Hmmm!!! The only one that was strongly recruited by any team of note was Allison who you didn't mention. Good luck with those Sleeper Dreams.

Every game from here on out is a must win

With the losses to ECU and Tulsa, we're running out of schedule. Rice is way down this year and should be a slam dunk, but Bennett/Gush have yet to figure out how to stuff the option.

We're going to have to beat Rice to get some confidence and momentum in order to beat a decent Houston team and a better UTEP team.

I went to the Tulsa game, and I think we generally outplayed them... But not to the extent that we could overcome the errors and some questionable play calling on offense. Since we beat them in OT last year, I'd have to call this performance a step backwards.

Tulsa has a nice small town/small college feel sort of like UNT (in a recession). But I can't comprehend how they compete with us in recruiting given the VAST difference in football history and facilities.

You must have seen a better side of the city than I did. To me, it was like a boring version of Waco, if that's possible. Their stadium doesn't hold a candle to Ford, their city lacks any appeal and every good-looking girl at the game was wearing SMU gear.
