Tired of these "Rebuilding Years". That excuse can only be used for so long and then reality sets in.
The only coaching job he would take is in California..he is dug in there with deep roots. Of course a couple of million a year would probably dig those roots up, but that will never be the pay scale here.

PK,

Post-UCLA, Toledo has inquired about jobs outside of California.

At this point, he probably feels he has something to prove, and would be maybe willing to turn this ship around.

What would he do.....that the others have been unable to do? Especially given the administration's lack of allowing our program to compete on a level playing field.

I read a recent article about Toledo and based my statement above on what Toledo was quoted as saying in the article.

You mean this quote from the LA Times???...'He has applied for jobs at three Pac-10 schools — Arizona, Washington and Stanford — and Nevada Las Vegas. Only Washington returned his call.'

And PS...I agree with you, would rather see AD leave than HC

Maybe, but the article I read (or maybe it was on ESPN or something) interviewed him and he stated that he really wasn't interested in getting very far from where he is located now. Like I said, really big money can probably change those feelings.
