my old fraternity is in the beginning stages of planning a huge party after that game with some other frats with some big name artist...
So we can count on those fraternities to NOT show up..."oh, well we've got to get ready for the big party". They tried this one time with a big "after-party" at Jack's and everyone just waited at home primping and then went to Jack's at 10...had nothing to do with the game.
And abe, the post-game concert was in Moody, so anyone that wanted to go just knew about it and thought "hmm ok, Moody at 9:30" and it totally cut out the idea of going to the game for the concert.
Winning cures cancer.

Looks like someone is begging for a Tone Loc concert and we can hear "Wild Thing"

Gimme a marching band and John Phillip Sousa. I can't stand hard rock or rap.

That's the ticket - bring Van Halen in for the Halloween ESPN game.

Since they all look like zombies anyway that might not be such a bad idea.

Suggestion for a concert band associated with an SMU football game: Big N' Rich.
The name says it all. What SMU student wouldn't want a t-shirt from this event? It says everything about the school. Kind of like those t-shirts from the '70s that said "SMU Country Club" or "SMU: Harvard of the South". When I went to Boston I actually saw one that said "Harvard: SMU of the North"!!!!!
