Coach Bennett joked at his press conference today that maybe this is an effort by Coach Price to sell out his stadium. He said coaches always look for any edge, but that he (Bennett) is looking for an edge on the field.

Ding ding ding....we have a winner.

Coach Price wants another sold out stadium for this Saturday's game. It would be the 3rd straight sold out game for UTEP this season. Mike Price knows El Paso's media covers anything related to UTEP athletics and what better thing to do....using the local media to motivate the fanbase. I don't think it'll be a sold out game....but I expect anywhere from 44k to 48k at the Sun Bowl.

BTW, UTEP's attendance average for the last two home games is 51k.

Why reach for something like that to fill up a stadium though? It's a weak attempt. Find something better than that.

Maybe offer a green card to anybody that buys a ticket. :wink:
