I ignored this thread because I thought it was some UT dribble. Oh, how I was wrong. Finding it now is like having opened all your Christmas presents on Christmas morning only to later see your dad bring out a new big wheel.

This thread is AWESOME! ... I was accepted to Amherst... decided not to go because if you wanted to play in a marching band... it was the UMass band. UMass was DII at that time... not sure what they are now. Also, they didn't have a film school... so, c'est la vie. But that's one place I would have really liked to go.

EDIT -

When I say Amherst. I mean Amherst. Not UMass (which is also in Amherst as well as a few other schools)

Where in the world did that rant come from?? Shouldn't he have sent this back when SMU joined the conference? And all those schools he named off with "fokelore" . . . they pay their 2nd string more than we ever paid our studs!!!!
