They actually base that stupid poll on number of eating establishments. If you have the most places to eat, you must be the fattest city... or at least so goes the logic. Anyway, you guys should wish you had more fat people. Takes fewer of them to make your stadium look full.
When I lived in Houston, the diehard houstonians would always say the "Houston has so many more restaurants than Dallas!"
My response was, "Yeah, but 1/2 of 'em start with "Pappa-" something and other half are taquerias."
No, really, Houston has some great restaurants, probably more great restaurants than Dallas, but as far as volume goes, really, how many taquerias can one go to and how much cash can you give the Pappas family?

Papa's or Landry's. They're all over the place. Even all over the US. Oh and they're both founded by UH alumns. We know how to eat.

Actually, if you believe those Men's Fitness polls, Houston is only the 5th fattest city in America this year! (Dallas is #4, btw)
On the other hand, if you believe the Money Magazine poll, you'd also know that Houston is the 3rd slimmest city in America this year!!! (Dallas doesn't make the top 25)
So there, we *might* be fat, or we might not, but we're no longer the fattest!!!

I think they are taking about wallet weight in Money Magazine. Makes sense to me.

MM65 why would you marry a woman that was even associated with that city? Good thing you traded up to a Mustang.

At 220, sounds like she blends in Houston. Good move, MrMustang867-5309.

Your point is well taken. Although I guarantee you that more UH alums fit that description than SMU grads. Your joke is on the wrong people. You're not going to hurt many feelings on this board. My parents bringing in 150,000 a year together were very poor compared to the parents of most of my classmates.

There's nothing wrong with making $150k a year...in your 20's.
