24-14 SMU HALFTIME.
After those first 2 quick scored by Houston (1 off a turnover, 1 a 77 yd run by their RB), our defense has SHUT THEM DOWN. Heisman "candidate" Kevin Kolb is 4-9 for 12 yards and a TD.
Willis is 12-18 for 178 yds and 3 TDs.
Sanders has 6 catches for 114 yards and 2 TDs.

Houston has a little over 120 yards rushing, but only 12 yards passing. Not bad considering the 77 yard TD run early in the game. Our defense usually makes really good adjustments after the half, I hope they stay strong. We should have another TD right now, but suspect play calling after the punt block hurt us. With that said, we are still up 10.
BTW, Rice is up 20 to 7 over Tulsa at half.

Don't we want Tulsa to win though?

is it televised?
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!
For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

I don't believe the Rice vs. Tulsa game is being televised.
I don't care who wins the Rice vs. Tulsa game. I am not sure that a Rice win would hurt us other than giving them confidence.

Plus, we seem to really FIGHT and play well when our backs are against the wall. A Rice win makes it tougher = good for us!

Crowd looks good, wish THIS were the televised crowd, not the UAB crowd.
What the heck was that guy playing with the band at halftime? Looked like he was playing a cricket bat or something.
Sent from my Motorola brick.

Ludicrous Statement Alert: Doh said in the halftime interview that Ike Ofoegbu could have started for him at North Carolina. But hey i'm not complaining, It's nice to hear our coach at least talking a good game.
