Renfro's son is not 5-10-he's a legitimate 6-0 and was simply redshirted because TCU started to season at least with plenty of WRs.

Stallion, you have been appointed as head of the search committee, who should be the coach in 2007?

I would feel better if you put him on the Board of Regents.

My comment was not to mock him - I am a sunshiner but he is the voice of reason. Watching the faces of the boys tonight after the game made me realize something needs to change.

Nor was I. The problems that SMU has suffered for the past 20 years have been more due to the policies of the Administration than the coaching. When we can recruit and accept the same student athletes as our competition then we can progress towards the end we desire. Thus the main problem lies with the Board and secondly the coaching. Not just any coach will be successful but it is certain that no coach will be successful if they can not compete within our conference and the NCAA in general.

I beleive they do. They at least have some "athlete friendly" courses don't they? I am not certain on this but my reference is not to this year but the culmanation of the past 20.

Anybody but Slocum. BTW, Dodge has had college exp. as he was the OC at North Texas State a few years ago. Neheisel has been mentioned. He is a complete jerk, but a good offensive mind. I am not so sure PB is gone. It will be an interesting next few weeks.

Why the [deleted] would you want to hire Dogde. A HS coach??? are you [deleted] me...

Bush Library, Womens Golf...DELETE THREAD!!!....NOW

hire the names of COKER and BOWDEN to attract athletes here...not a [deleted] highschool coach.

If you knew anything about Texas football you would realize that there is a good chance that High School team could beat our SMU team...not to mention that High School coach would out coach PB. I'm not saying Dodge should be our top priority, but he has to be on the list. If we can't bring in a Doherty type then Dodge would be an amazing candidate. Ask me how many football games he has lost in the last five years...better than Pete Carroll
