Not to follow a hijacking of the post, but the kid in question doesn't seem to 'get it' either. It is illegal to take money that you did not earn...or in the case of the NCAA's view, you had no right to have.

SMU cheated with headlong abandon...we were caught...we fought the investigation with headlong abandon...we lost.

What any other school does or does not do in the area of cheating is really a moot point. We still set the standard.

What I find really troubling is the same attitude of entitlement that this OU player has ( and plenty of others elsewhere ) in that "all I did was take cash." No ethic, no understanding of consequences. Disturbing.
