CUSA Sun Belt.
Good School Academic Joke.
Dallas Denton.
Red/Blue Green/White.

Oh hey look we pretty much win in everything except one year. You know its bad when you've played a team more than 30 times and count the victories on one hand.

I think I liked the story of the first better, and Alan Rickman more, but this was my favorite Bruce Willis character of the 4.

We will set the football world right with UNT next year. Unfortunately TCU will do the same with us.

It is a true shame when we have to tout academic prowess on a FOOTBALL BOARD.

I expect us to smack down these upstarts this fall. I suspect Mr. Orsini does as well. This is not a game for the Ponies to take lightly. Last year, Bennett kept Willis on a tight leash, I don't expect us to do that this year and we will take care of bidness, and then the stars will realign, global warming will stop, peace will reign on earth, and my Chinese made tv won't short out after 15 minutes.

if bennett loses to nts this year, he will be run out of town, sadly, it could happen. smu will have seen very little of nts, and nts will be looking at lots of smu film this summer. another thing is, smu will have two less days to prepare for the green, and heal up after the tech game. very big advantage for nts, but the bottom line is, bennett loses this one.......and orsini will let the axe fall quickly.

Way to neglect the fact that UNT plays OU, a better Big XII team than Tech the week before they play us. Way to neglect the fact that Bennett will not hold Willis's leash like he did the first two games of last year. It is not all gloom and doom as you make it sound.

Slow down there phonies-

Postby Charlie NT73 » Thu Jul 05, 2007 11:06 am

Yes- in the PAST, you handled North Texas, so now you must admit,
times have changed. The North Texas program is becoming a major
player in the world of college football. Coach Dodge is known not only
in Texas, but across the country. Coach Dodge is proving he can
recruit top talent for his program. Give Coach Dodge some time for
developing these players and his offense and defense, then lets see how
the picture looks.
I am all for a regular series with SMU, TCU and North Texas. Too bad the
schools adminstrators, and the cities of Dallas and Ft Worth, cannot not
see the huge benefits regular games would bring to the programs and
the cities. I think the Jones World deal with TT and Okie St would not
compare to a promtional deal with NT,SMU,TCU every year. What a great
marketing opportunity going to waste, great games for the fans, great
media for the metroplex, and great $$$ for the schools.
Put the egos aside, and listen to what the fans want!

I agree with Charlie. We should be playing NTSU and TCU every year.

Ok Mr. Soapbox,

Ignoring your "North Texas is becoming a major player" spiel which I will just write off as fanaticism on your part. I'm all for a regular series with you guys and a continued regular series with TCU.

What I want to know is where your conspiracy theorist notions of Dallas and Ft Worth not seeing the benefits comes from. There are huge benefits to be had (guaranteed high attendance numbers, increased revenues, strengthened rivalries, etc.) Quit playing your everyone-hates-me routine, you aren't being suppressed, oppressed, or even repressed.

i was one of only 400 or so smu folks that went to denton last year. people from smu could care less about the greenies, sad but true. it's a no win for smu, if we win, people say so what, it's only nts. if we lose......it's a disaster in perception. why is it soooooo very important to the greenies, what smu thinks of you? who cares?
