That's a big negative. Strolled in there at lunch today after seeing this thread. Didn't notice anything. I'll check back later in the week.
Two shirts, both Adidas brands. One is grey with SMU lettering and the the Mustang on it. The other is red with MUSTANGS and Southern Methodist University, the school's founding year and Dallas, Texas on it. Here's a picture. The red is a bit lighter than what you see in this photo, though. White lettering. Sizes range from S to XXL (for BIG MEN, BUS!). I bought one of the XXL's. 100% cotton. Both shirts are priced at $18.00.
They also have SMU caps, two styles. One is red, white and blue with SMU lettering on the crown and MUSTANGS on the back. The other cap is all black with a Mustang on it. I didn't care for either cap, frankly.
But I thanked the store manager for carrying SMU items. He said they've been trying to convince the corporate office of Sports Authority for 2 years to carry SMU items since the school is located in Dallas. He said they finally decided to do so to 'test the market'. I told him I'd post this information on pf.com to let everyone else know that they're carrying SMU items. He said, "The more that people buy 'em, the more we'll carry!" Supply & demand, folks. Supply & demand.
That's a nice shirt. Is that location still carrying SMU apparel? I may have to stop in in the next few days
