Each and every one of them is supported by articles I posted on this board. So yes I will. You obviously don't even know the facts.

Give me time to go through your 9000+ posts. I will have a hard time believing that the articles are going to say, these kids couldn't get into SMU so they went elsewhere. Which was my argument to begin with. The choice against SMU was most likley for other reasons.

Bad things happen cumulatively. We got the death penalty. We overreacted and put in place draconian rules regarding who we can recruit and how we recruit them. Guess what, we stink. We get shipped out of the SWC and join the WAC-16. We still stink. We lose the better programs from the WAC-16 and now have the misfit WAC -10. We still stink. We then loosen some of the restrictions, we move to CUSA and guess what, we are semi-competitive because we have four private schools in the conference and three former 1-AA programs UAB, Marshall and UCF. But as shown in non-conference play, we're still not where we need to be. We still have an uneven field in recruiting due to restrictions bandied about. That still may not overcome the 20 years we've stunk at football. Our attendance is still horrible. Our fan base is shrinking. More people would rather drink outside of the stadium than go inside. A new coach needs every tool we can give him to succeed. We need to be sure that the SMU football program has the ability to take players that other CUSA schools can take. We cannot afford to continue to perform below par on the field.

And that's the issue for me. Show me proof that SMU, ITSELF, won't allow in players that are allowed to play football at other CUSA schools.

If Sun Belt can be included, the Troy QB could not get in here. Also there was a kid a t Northwestern that was said to want to transfer but could not bring all of his hours. That is just off the top of my head.

The Troy QB: Was it a problem with SAT scores/GPA being too low? How do you know he didn't get in? I'll say, if there is some large scale discrepancy between what we'll take as far as test scores and what someone else will take TO PLAY FOOTBALL, then that's a problem. I just can't find any documented proof of that anywhere.

I know he did not get in because he is at Troy.

He said he wanted to come here but could not get in.

All I can do is take his word.

Yeah, i know I borrowed that one.

Did I earn the A- or did the Caddy? It was at least a team effort, right?

What about the nose guard who was a monster for UNT when they were winning the SBC and going to the New Orleans Bowl?
