Georgia puts on white bones for Athletic/on-field achievement, and black bones for Academic achievement/community involvement. Not a terrible idea for a school that touts it's 100% grad rate. But then again, if you are going to do it, the players should know what they are for and why they received them.
I don't really care for it. I like a clean look. And Ed Davidson made sure those were applied only by him so they didn't look shoddy. Back in the Cavan days , seems like guys had them out the wazzoo, and what was our record? Did we win a Conf. Championship? Go to a bowl?
