June Jones Negotiations from Hawaii board:

Heard last night that we are looking at doubling the salary of Coach Jones, bringing it to 1.6million a year. Way to step up to the plate Herm. I recall that the last time this was an issue, the donors requested anonymity. Is this why we ain't hearing much about contract talks?

Stallion is right about Jones.....he has no intention of leaving the islands and is using SMU and UCLA to drive his price up......or maybe he wants to use some of that money to hire Gary Gibbs as his DC....after all, this was his first season without Glanville as his DC
