If White stays at WV next season maybe he will win a title. I'm not sure what other returning starters they may have.

And I'm not biased for UT by any stretch, but that it one important fact that has been omitted. Make no mistake about it, VY delivered that title.

You might want to put an asterisk next to the 0 for pat white...

Uh, why? Because they lost to a crappy Pittsburgh and an average (and now exposed) USF team they deserve to be crowned NC's?
no.... because they should be one of the front runners next year

I think USC might have something to say about that.

If it weren't for Kerry Collins, TN might be sitting at home this week.

Young is a great runner, but a very mediocre passer. Not even in the top half of NFL QBs. TN will be better off this week if Collins is playing.

Please. TN was winning before VY went out. How soon you forget that Kerry Collins was 0-3 to start the season last year before VY came in and almost led them to the playoffs. Sure, he may not be the best NFL qb there is (yet?) but you can't deny his contribution to his team.

Agreed. Assuming LSU kicks the crap out of OSU as I think they will, I think the top 5 next year will look something like:

1. USC
2. LSU
3. WVU
4. UGA
5. UT :D

He has one of the bottom 5 passer ratings in the league, has thrown twice as many interceptions as TDs, has been held to 14 points or less in 10 out of 16 games. He's holding that team back.

Have you actually watched any of their games this year? Their wide receiver corps has been abhorrent...

Oh wait, why am I bothering? You're obviously just a hater.

Yeah kind of. :P

VY just reminds me of a bigger version of Cordell Stewart. He's got potential of course, but I don't think most QBs can "learn" to pass accurately. He doesn't seem to be getting much better. I don't think there's any way he's in the top half of all NFL QBs rt now.

Also, if i recall correctly they were down 7-10 when Collins went in vs. Indy.

I'm not claiming he is top in the nfl right either. I will argue with anyone that says Pat White is a better college qb than VY, though. And still, VY's contribution to the Titans is much more than td to int ratio.

And you may be right about the indy game, now that I think about it

That could be right. Although SC's non-conference schedule next year includes Ohio State, at Virginia and (of course) Notre Dame. Not an easy slate to break-in an unexperienced QB.
