I know one major reason people come to San Marcos. It's not Dallas.

I hate for my first post on this board to be this, but the majority of you guys on this thread are morons. All the flack over some guy who gave you an insightful look into a new FBS team in the state of Texas and all you guys can do is make stupid remarks. "Again, who cares, blah, blah, blah..." Listen up buddy, if you don't care, don't click on the the thread that is clearly marked Texas State.

I guess it's true what they say. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. SMU is a good school and you can get a fine education there. With that said, there are plenty of idiots from SMU, as I can clearly see just from my short time on this site. Guess a private education can't fix stupid huh?

TxSt might not have a super dominant football team, but at least we can win a conference game. Sheesh.

In about 5 or 6 years SMU will be doing 1 and 1's with Texas State.

See ya around!

Aren't they cute. :D

As cute as your 0-8 conference standing?

Yet we will still beat you so very badly. Try to find your way back home now. Hopefully the birds did not eat the bread.

I went back trying to find a common I-A opponent and our last common opponent was the '05 A&M team. Looks like the ponies got clobbered 66 to 8. The Texas State Bobcats held on for a 44 to 31 loss. Quite a bit closer.

I'm sure you guys will whoop us real good though.

See ya in September!

You are right. You have won my respect. From this date forward you will be known as the Robertcats. None of this informal, disrepectful Bob stuff.

Nice try, chump. Don't forget that minor detail about the game being moved up to a Thursday night so it would avoid being interrupted by a Hurricane. I bet if the Aggies had actually bothered to study film on your team, they probably would have scored 60 on you guys easily.

Bwahahaha!

Whatever, maybe the extra 20+ scholarships they have had something to do with it? Maybe it's the fact that WE had to unexpectedly travel to one of the most feared places to play in all of Div I football.

Did you even watch the game? If so, you would have recalled that the place was a ghost town compared to a typical A&M game. Most everyone had left due to Hurricane Rita. Not much of an "aggieland" atmosphere there. At least, it didn't look that way. I'd be curious to see how TxSt would have fared under the same conditions. I doubt you'd have put more than 10 on them. So quit trying to polish the turd that is your program.

One should be wary of talking on end about such subjects as learning, morality or folklore in front of elders or people of rank. It is disagreeable to listen to.
