what are the other possible options anyone can think of? there is a red raider alum in my office and he mentioned that Tech would likely be a good place since Harrell has one more year of eligibility conceivably Foles could just slip right in there, given that there doesn't seem to be much talent behind him.

i was thinking about other schools within a close radius and A&M could be a possibility too but they have more QB's on the roster than Tech.

i really like the opportunity that SMU presents but time will tell.

Yeah Potts was ranked ahead of Foles in 2006 so it would be a very surprising to me if he went there.

More importantly than his ability which apparently is very good, would be to have the visibility of a big time BCS school transfer selecting SMU, coupled with SMU having the appropriate standards for which he could enroll. This would be big and another sign that we are returning to prominence.

sooo there isn't much pressure for a decision right now since he has to sit out a year anyway...feelers have been put out, people have been talked to, i really want to be more specifically vague about this but its looking like it might be a few weeks before anything substantial comes of this...

i mean we're not in much of a rush, right? we have Justin Willis back... :shock:
