Whomever is the more accurate passer will be the starting qb. Willis has intangibles, but he may not be the most accurate passer on the team.

Also, Willis didn't do himself any favors by getting suspended for Spring ball. That was dumb. If the HC can't trust his qb then he won't be the starting qb.

2 weeks of Powder Puff Football is more important than 42 games of football experience. You can talk about this accuracy stuff all you want-On August 29 we will play a real tackle game. It will not be pretty for a true freshman. Rice by more than a touchdown. At least its not Opie Turner.

Excellent point....a bit easier to be accurate in shorts and the "don't hit the QB" jersey...

To me, it makes no sense to throw a true freshman to the lions, red shirt them and let them learn...like Willis was able to do. Willis was fantastic as a freshman, much having to do with the fact that he could redshirt a year.

he wasn't too fantastic during his first two games as a redshirt freshman either and had difficulty completing passes 5 yards downfield.
