He should absolutely do that. Would be best for all concerned. Particularly SMU.

If SMU loses to NTS, I think Justin will get a shot. Just my opinion. I understand that JJ is trying to build a program here. However there is a momentum that has been built up. I think JJ would like to keep it alive. He may go to Willis to do that at TT.

If SMU loses to NTSU next time we play them, I seriously doubt Willis will be reinstated, since it will be in 2014 or somesuch.

If JJ sticks to his word, you'll have to wait until after the Tech game to see a different starter at QB. JJ said there would be an evaluation after 3 games at the QB position

Obviously, the QB situation is not set. The O as a whole looked new as it was. The D is behind and no surprise. All the reason that the O needs to progress after each game. I expect the O to improve.
The defense needs better recruits. I hope I am wrong and I will shut up because I don't know enough on the D to say anything. The needs to improve a lot more and it begins with the QB.
Turnovers, especially INTs. We probably win if we win the TO battle.
Lets not panic but lets not get on the gravy train.
The Qb situation is telling and all 3 are up for grabs as the season goes on.
Obviously, I'm new on this board. I apologized to the Mustang faithful who deserve better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let the cream rise to the top and lets wait till after the second half of the season. There is hope for the two true freashman to make a go. Can JW make it a go at mid season! Yes. MID SEASON! Unseen. So lets wait for Texas Teach. That is a big order but this is D1! True freshmen do not grow on trees. Timmy Chang was in the High School R&S for 4 years. High school. Ron Lee was his OC. IT IS WIDE OPEN!
JJ said after Texas Tech he will assess the QB. Its a moving target people! Nothing is written in stone especially if you are building a program from nothing!
It isn't all about the QB. Its about the QB with the OL with the WRs. And that all comes down to the RB.
Championships are made on defense.
Lucky thing we aren't aiming for a championship this year!
Get it together!

I'm going to say this once and only once to you, ITS NOT EVEN ABOUT THE DAMN QB. that is not the problem. Whoever starts at QB will be fine. ITS ALL ABOUT THE DEFENSE!!! if they cant get stops, we wont win no matter who is under center taking snaps
