Use to be one 100 yards from SMU off Hillcrest. I actually went to a DQ in SoCal that did not serve hamburgers...go figure.
Forgot about that one...hell that sucker may still be there. If so it is the last one in town.

It's not, closed down while I was in school 97-02.
The donkey's name is Kiki.

On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

Good, Bad...I'm the one with the gun.

Actually a great idea....any recommended restaurants or places to grab a bite nearby? Within a mile or two?

Ozona at Mockingbird and Dyer Ave is within a mile. Great outdoor seating areas - good food - cheap beer before 7:00, mix of us 30 somethings with young SMU coeds. Can't go wrong at all with this place.

ReedFrog should be welcomed at any SMU tailgate on the Blvd. Unlike some of the Tech posters on this board - RF is a classy HF fan and has been around since the beginning of these boards . . . ReedFrog - enjoy your visit to Ford.

Ozona is actually at GREENVILLE Ave. and Dyer.

My bad - guess I was trying to send ReedFrog to the Fare.

Yes - Greenville and Dyer - that's where it is . . .

Mockingbird and Dyer don't intersect.

Ozona's is (I think) at Dyer and Greenville.
PonyFans.com ... is really the premier place for Mustang talk on the Web.

Yes - I certainly was around for mustangmaniacs.com. Thanks for the kind words from some of the "older" posters. I think you guys have convinced me to just sack up, drive over early and do the Boulevard this time (for the first time really). Anyone with a tailgate who is open to having a beer with a couple level-headed tcu fans, I would greatly appreciate it. I don't know my way around very well so directions and someone's name would be great. It's always uncomfortable to walk up to a group of people you don't know and ask for someone by their screen name. Please let me know and feel free to send a private message if you don't want to reveal your true identity. Thanks again and look I am looking forward to Saturday.

If we still had our Blvd spot, you'd be welcome to join us. Unfortunately, we are now in the boat of wandering the Blvd and hoping someone takes pity on us. :D

You can always join us at our fantastic spot under the tree in the courtyard of Cockrell-McIntosh Hall. You'll have to ignore the bathroom trailer to your right and the rather rough crowd with the Campisis on the left. Come to think of it, I need a new spot.

Edit: C o c k r e l l was deleted?

Do the Campisis bring pizza? Might be worth a visit...

They always seem to have pizza, yes. But I'm too scared of them to ask for a piece.

"Correct me if I'm wrong, but you can't go out at halftime
and get a beer at your tailgate, you instead are held hostage
by the bands. Looks like a flask will be in play"

at the texas state game i staggered out to
the blvd at halftime, stole a couple of ice chests full
of beer, then staggered back in the game without a problem!
