I'm in 206 as well, but towards the 205 side. I would like to introduce myself to y'all at S. Miss.

My group tries to make noise but two things work against us: 1. Every one else in the stadium does nothing and you almost feels stupid to be the only ones cheering on the west side and 2. Every time we cheer the defense to make an important stop on 3rd or 4th down, the defense invariably fails to hold.

It would be great to consolidate in 206 so we can cheer with abandon.

Third row 114.

Represent.

And I'm not one of the chumps who paints his chest then stands there and politely cheers like he's at Augusta Pines. We publicly and constantly ridicule said chumps.
We've never lost the tailgate.

205, top, center. We yell, and there is a family 2 rows below us who has a toddler who blows one of those long red horns the whole game. He's fun to watch.

I've heard him. I haven't gotten our kids the horns because I am afraid they will hit someone with them. Our 2 year old nearly killed a few people near us with a pom pom this weekend.

Section 104, row 24...nobody behind me except the folks in wheelchairs and they can still see even if I stand...which I do most of the game...I would say most of the people in that section are pretty into the game....

His mom or grandma usually holds it up so it doesn't hit the people in front of them. When we scored near the end of the game, his mom was blowing the horn herself!

I was called an inconsiderate [deleted] on Saturday by the guy behind me because I was standing up and cheering. Not cussing, not being obnoxious, but for standing and cheering. I'm in section 105 about the 45 yard line and I can't stand my section.

That's what I am pushing for. But instead of being exclusive to PonyFans only, all who are willing to be loud and rowdy are invited.

And nobody will tell on someone who might accidentally drop a bottle of Jack Daniels on the ground. I'm just sayin'....

I certainly hope that if that happens it is a flask and not a bottle...don't want to see good things wasted. :)
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Actually, when I saw it happen this year, the bottle was empty. And the people left before anything happened.

Is there a designated loud section?

I wish. It's freaking sad sad sad. Who would want to come and play football in front of our crowd? Honestly???

That being sad, please, oh great young football players... come to SMU. We NEED you.

(I get weird looks when I try to make noise when we need a big stop, that is - again - sad sad sad, folks.)

Man, I can't imagine why we don't attact Dallasites to our stadium.

Just keep standing. What's he gonna do?
