Ask yourself this; why was Pete Carrol so adamant that Sanchez stay at USC?

1. you spend way too much time bolding and coloring your posts... i can read i dont need the extra help.

2. Who is starting at USC this year? think sanchez is better?

The only thing that I want out of the position this year is consistency. That along with some Ws will sell the program to quarterbacks across Texas and other parts.

We haven't had that in about 10-12 years.

For this year, it's Mitchell's job until he proves otherwise.

I'd like to echo what a couple other people have already said:

- Regardless of system or coach SMU has next to no chance of ever landing a 5 star QB. JJ and his offense don't make it any less likely and probably makes it more likely for us to have a shot at 3 and possibly 4 star type QBs.

- I want guys that will succeed at SMU and make the football program better here. I don't care what they project out to be in the NFL. I'd kill for SMU to land a great college QB with no chance of ever going to the NFL.

Having a great college qb would be amazing...look at where it has gotten Florida with Tebow and crouch the qb from Nebraska that won the heisman then got drafted by the rams and fizzled out...all that I care about is the qb makes smu better

his pro highlights look so good (against 3rd stringers) that they are looking to draft a QB in the first round...

Do you believe for one second that Daniel Snyder knows how to properly gauge a players worth? He's only interested in making a big splash. And the funny thing is this; if he trades up for Sanchez, he' making a huge mistake. Sanchez is a Junior QB with a total of 16 college starts. History has shown that Junior's fail at the NFL level. Repeatedly. Ryan Leaf, Tim Couch, Andre Ware, Vince Young, Alex Smith, Scott Mitchell, Todd Marinovich...

The Redskins have no idea what they have in Colt Brennan.

sanchez will be drafted in the top 8 saturday, if not the top 5.... you can count on that ( my guess is number 4)... but i guess you know more football then all of those nfl scouts...
