Look, I know SMU sucks. And I also know that June Jones teams "start slow."

But, without looking, what do you know about SFA football? Probably nothing. They won only four games last season at I-AA. One of those wins was against Division II and another was against an NAIA school. Oh, and they lost to the only team we beat. 2-8 lifetime agaisnt I-A teams. Appalachian State, they are not.

Also, recall that I-A teams beat I-AA teams 90% of the time.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

For the record, I am not saying that we can't get worse and therefore will get better. It can get worse. We could go 0-12. I don't think we will, but the level of improvement in our D will dictate a lot of our success.

This team is only good enough for 4 wins at the most. We don't have enough solid defensive linemen to create a good push, and I don't think our LBs run well enough. And until we have some clarity on our running game with McNeal, the depth and effectiveness there is going to be greatly challenged.

It's about speed, and we don't have nearly enough of it.

I still think we can beat Navy. They have one decent Defensive Back (Wyatt Middleton), so I feel our offense will definetly score a lot and often.

I think our defense is going to be much better and will at least slow down thier running game, since the only returning runner is the QB, Dobbs, who killed us last year.

Navy is not as good as last year and we are a lot better.

I also think they will be way over confident.
