I think the one thing most scouts are still waiting on for Padron is whether he has a major league arm-can he zip the passes at a college level which is why a redshirt year would have been nice. A high percentage of his passes seemed to float the other nite. The guy was physically frail when he signed with SMU-I know he has added some strength since but he still needs physically maturity. Good mobility, nice technique. There is a big upside with Padron if he develops quality arm strength.

June Jones addressed the drops a little this morning after practice. He compared it to golfers who simply lose the touch on their short game or tee shots .... said the guys have to "just work through it" by running more routes and catching more passes. He said he remains confident in the WRs' ability, and basically chalked it up to being "one of those days" on which passes are dropped, etc.

Remember the Tulane game last year? Receivers were dropping everything in the first half.
