What is up with all of you people and the bar tab thing. Good lord. Some one buy us a drink besides RVG. LOL. I’m not selling anymore of my basket ball tickets at a $100.00 a seat so I do not feel guilty enough to buy cocktails for those who do not need to have them purchased in the first place.

A, why don’t we just buy a keg and take it to Eddie P’s suite. Straight up hood it up in that B*&ch..

Better yet let’s get the special delivery truck to Fed-X in a monster tail gate. Everyone chip in the funds with a pay pal link prior to the game.

Cheers

Great post, Mestengo. I like the paypal idea. There is one among us with great experience at organizing and delivering on such a gala.

yeah but did you book your room? And are you going to slum it at the Tech Law tent at Raider Alley for free food and drink before the game, decked out in a smart SMU polo?

I reaaaaaally want to go. However, I'm getting laid off from my part-time job at the end of the month so I'll need to find a new one. Graduating this past May has been tough. Here's to me finding a job and being able to see the Mustangs stomp Tech!

Mustang Club had a keg last time. The 20 or so of us that were there drank from it. So sparse was the gathering that the Tech guy hired to man the keg walked the length of the tent and brought me another whenever summoned. There were two kegs at the MC gathering in Houston. As for drinks at the Overton, you'll probably be fine.

Man were planing you know I hate that.
On another note, I am going to buy one of those tailgate flag poles for the club so we can find the dang party this year. I need A Mustang Club flag. I can get the SMU.

Depends where you're driving to and how much you've had to drink.

PonyLove, book your room yet? Stampede? BUS? Ponyscott?

ponyscoot, I look forward to seeing Jones Stadium from field level

We can do it RGV, just act like we own the place again, and hopefully we will on Game Day! What hotel is good or the best for us ponyfans to stay?...and on a budget close to the action...

the team hotel is the Holiday Inn & Towers...most, if not all, of the other hotels are on the other side of town...Brownfield Hwy & the Loop. Hampton's over there, Embassy not far away, etc. Takes maybe 10 minutes to go from one side of town to the other. They've opened a Homewood on the west side since the last time we were there...they've got some decent rates.

takes about 5 1/2 hours to drive-depending on route
