Believe me 35, we are well aware of that curse, going back to JJ's song in '08 (1-11), and the "Pony Up" year '07 (1-11). Hopefully we can break that pattern next season

you've got to be kidding me if you don't think Padron would have easily matched the 202 yards, 1 TD and 2 INTs against Stephen F. Austin.

sure he could have lost the UAB game but I think he win's the WSU game without a doubt.

I was disappointed to see Vic leave for FSU after he said repeatedly that he didn't want to leave smu. I understand that he is going there for more money for his family etc. it's nothing personal against the guy. (and you all seem to know him on a personal level) - I was just disappointed to see him leave.

As far as bashing players, I'll be the first to admit- I am not a Bo Levi fan. I think he threw games away single-handedly and I don't think he did much to win the games that we won that any of the other backups couldn't have done. It's frustrating to see someone get that many chances and show zero progress. It is irrelevant now though. I'm just so glad padron got to finally show what he could do and he seems like he has his head in the game.

As a side note, i haven't done 1/50th of the SMU/administration/June Jones bashing that some on this board do. Sorry to any of the Mitchell family members that I may have offended.

I am also not a Bo Levi fan but he needs to be given credit for busting his butt and trying. In spite of his short comings he did the best he could. JJ probably didn't have many options at that time and had to use what players he had available. We will continue to improve and JJ will continue to recruit better players each season. Upgrade, upgrade, upgrade.
