give him credit for handling his "demotion" with class; while Jones and plenty of SMU fans would love to see him stay and provide some competition (even if that is for the #1 backup role), I think we all understand that for too many kids these days, it's all about playing time. I just hope he thinks about his education along the way

There is NO WAY Bo ever sniffs a locker room in the NFL. Not smart or athletic enough. However, if there was a contest for impersonating Eminem and getting heinous tattoos of a nickname you don't deserve, then he'd be an all-star.

As usual, you do not know what you are talking about. You think "the look" makes the man? This young man is a solid citizen. Do you know him? Have classes with him? How do you know he is not smart? The kid, 19, is carrying a very decent GPA at SMU and he is not majoring in PE.

There are a number of reasons for the transfer, the NFL opportunity is not one of them, but what kid doesn't dream (other than you). One reason, which was somewhat mentioned in the Dallas paper on Monday, makes Bo a better man than you will ever be, son.

Thinking you will be an engineer is one matter, but it is not the same as majoring in it. From your statement, though, he is not even in the program. Impressive. In fact, based upon your continued insistence that your brother is an amazing quarterback, your belief that BM is a fine student is not the strong endorsement you believe it to be. If anything it only adds credence to the idea that he is a poort student.

he might be a fine guy, but when you do things like that, and drive a truck with your name on the license plate, and then proceed to be absolutely terrible on the field, people are going to think you're a [deleted]. is it fair? probably not. but that's the way it goes.
