Why? The Navy game at Annapolis is a great experience, TV or no TV. Navy is also a team we are developing a tradition with. Annapolis is close and easy to get to from three major airports and airfare at least from Dallas can be found at very reasonable rates. All in all, a great game to travel to.

Cheney WA is less than 70 miles from Pullman, so they can give it to him in August.

Because CBSCS may move the date of the game.

Give your self an extra day to sightsee and enjoy Annapolis. Nice town, good food, historic and the Navy people are great. Despite the game being played in a hurricane in 08 my trip to Annapolis was most enjoyable and I plan to spend several days there this fall in conjunction with the game.

I will be attending the Navy game regardless of date/time (I was at that monsoon last time) and I love playing Navy, but I was thinking more in terms of game time. Night game is good for one hotel night, 1 pm game is more convenient for two hotel nights, especially if you like to drink, that's all I'm saying. I will wait for reservations And hopefully Pocono will be there again to give us a ride home after the game

Houston is at home. Of course all of them are away games for me.
I understand Rice still plays their home games in Houston.
This first time home buyer business is frying my brain. I knew better than to think Bill would make a mistake. Guess I should have realized we were not playing Lubbock or El Paso or New Orleans either.

Mrsmrydel has even agreed on the Navy trip with me. She wants more Civil War history touring so I brokered a deal with her to include Annapolis and SMU football combined with her stuff.

UAB lost Joe Webb...who their team pretty much centered upon...and we have always been a laughable team on the road, yet we won despite the Gunslinger's efforts to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. This team will slap around some people in 2010 -- UAB being the first demonstration for the home opener. I'm fairly confident, and I'm never confident when it comes to SMU football

Annapolis is great, I took my gf and family up for the game in 08, and even though we played horribly during that monsoon, the weekend itself was great. Food, nightlife, sights, naval academy...great trip. This year, i'm hoping for the same good times plus a win!! Oh, and anyone planning on attending the ECU game, Greenville centers around the football team so book your hotel early. It'll be a great time

Yes. And so much better than that Thursday game in NO two years ago. Some buddies and I wanted to go, but a weekday game made that impossible. I was at the 2006 game in NO and it was a blast with all the SMU folks on Bourbon St. Hopefully a good number will travel.

For the Tulane game on Halloween, just see if we can borrow a punter from the Saints for honorary captain.
